Rich is joining Guitar Weekends in May 2024 when he’ll be running our Jam Day at Scotch Corner, Yorkshire. He’s a professional guitarist/vocalist based in the North East but has played all over UK and Europe.
Rich is a Guitarist and Vocalist based in the North East and has a particular interest in improvisation leaning towards Jazz, although he also loves Blues, Rock, Folk and Classical music on both Electric and Acoustic Guitar.
After graduating from the Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music Degree taught at Newcastle he has worked continuously as a professional performing musician.
He’s also an experienced songwriter, composer and arranger and has performed and recorded at some of the most prestigious festivals, studios and venues across the UK and Europe such as Glastonbury, O2 London, RAK studios, Paradiso and Melt Festival.
Alongside live performing he also teaches Guitar and Singing across the North East to all ages in Primary, Secondary, Further Education settings as well as Private tuition in person and online.
