Rock the Bass

There’s no better way of learning bass than learning from the best. We’ll look at some legendary Rock bassists – how they get that magical groove and where it comes from. Learn the bass lines and how and why they work.

What will we be covering?

We’ll be looking at just a few highly acclaimed, legendary, Rock Bass Players:

  • John Entwistle (The Who)
  • Andy Frasier (Free)
  • John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin)
  • Jack Bruce (Cream)
  • Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy)
  • Paul McCartney (The Beatles)
  • John Deacon (Queen)

We’ll analyse some of the most iconic bass lines of all time and try to uncover the ‘secret sauce’ that makes Rock Bass so powerful and infectious.

You will learn just how easy it can be to create great bass lines, using just a few musical tools.
