Overview and lesson format
We look again at two songs covered in an earlier course, delving into the problem areas players have met, playing through both songs and pointing out how the comprehensive practice materials can really help to nail these songs. We mght even fit a few partial performances if time allows.
This course is a natural follow-on for players who have already been on the original course and who already have the materials but it’s also very accessible to those who haven’t (relative beginner to intermediate levels) and these player will receive the original practice materials cover full TAB (strumming/picking patterns, chords, and any intro, turnaround, ending, riffs and other fills), backing tracks and videos of the examples and exercises. The idea is simply to teach the essence of these should-know songs.
This course is for relative beginners-and-above acoustic or electric guitar players (check out our FAQs’ Skill levels and suitable courses). There’s something for everyone in all our courses and the follow-on materials should help in both practising the song as well as understanding and applying any techniques and relevant theory covered.
This course, although not designed for bassists, is a fantastic opportunity for playing and practice. We do provide bass parts on some courses and always offer guidance as we go through the lessons but we don’t formally teach the bass; any interested bassists should contact us beforehand.
