It's not for raw beginners but for
those who may have missed out on some of the more basic
principals in their eagerness to play more. Perhaps
playing 20 or 30 years and getting stuck on that
plateau.
We will cover quite a few aspects of guitar playing including.
Basic playing techniques (gently ironing out the bad habits)
Accompanying other players and singers
Timing and time signatures.
Strumming, finger-picking, rhythm patterns.
Basic interpretation of music.
Listening and copying recorded materials.
How to go about learning and practicing.
Communication with other players, understanding jargon.
Guitar Weekends are for more mature learners.
So there you are.
A good weekend for bedroom/hobby players to learn, get motivated and have fun. This weekend is always very popular so get booked in early.
