Professional guidance searching out the best exercises to suit each
player for future progress. In this session, all and any specific
difficulties will also be checked out. Chord
construction:- Learn how to identify chord types and shapes all over the
guitar fingerboard. Charts will be supplied. If chords seem complex
or puzzling, enjoy this comprehensive look at
a fascinating subject made more easy. Guitar
geography:-
Joining up chords and scales to explore the guitar by improving your
knowledge of the whole guitar. Opening up your playing, your
listening and the way you visualize the guitar.
General
workshop:- Students will be able to play with or for other people on the
weekend, obtain valuable critique and advice from both Neil and
other course members and generally enjoy playing without
interruption.
Equipment:- Please bring an acoustic guitar along with you together with
any music (or ensemble music) to share with others on the weekend.
We plan to have 6 or 7 students on this course.
A relaxed weekend in the company of other like minded players in a
beautiful setting with a great classical guitarist to tutor you,
motivate you and make sure you enjoy yourself.
