CUMBRIA GUITAR SHOW 29th AND 30th AUGUST 2010

I have been organising the Cumbria Guitar Show for the last 14 years and I've enjoyed every minute of it. However there comes a time to pass it on to a younger person so this will be my last Show. I have a Maintenance Weekend planned for the 29th of October. After attending our Maintenance weekends many students have gone on to start-up small business's setting up and repairing guitars.

The Strugglers Weekend usually the 1st weekend in October has moved forward to the 24th of September with the 1st of October now as a Country Weekend with Lee Hodgson who is also playing at the Cumbria Guitar Show this year. Rod Sinclair will have one more Standard Blues Weekend this year on the 8th of October and Gary Dunn will have two weekends in November, Improvers on the 5th and Rock Improvers on the 12th. The two final weekends of the year Strugglers 2 and Blues 2 are both full. There are still places on the Rock & Gear weekend with Eddie Allen July 9th.

Hi Malcolm,

Thanks for a great weekend, I must admit to a few nerves on the way there, but after playing the first piece, they were quickly dispelled and as you explained it turned out to be a fabulous weekend. Lin was very generous in his support and enthusiasm. The group were very friendly.
