Three weekends are planned for 2009 now including a Maintenance Two weekend in May.
In new teaching studio with Chris May. We will be limited to 4 students on this weekend. £425 for the full weekend, all tools supplied.
A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the weekend.

We will be looking at the setting up you can do yourself to improve your instrument.  Including truss rod adjustment, fret dressing and setting of the intonation.

 

 

 
bullet These workshops will give you the insight of how guitars are made and why they require to be set up for each individual. 
bullet It will give you the confidence to carry out your own set-up so the guitar feels right for you. This could save you money as well.
bulletAdjust the truss rod, Dress the frets and get rid of any buzzes.
bullet We cover what tools are required, what size of strings are best for your guitar. 
bullet What the pick up heights should be and what the action is all about.
bullet All the players who have been on Chris's workshop have said that they were very impressed with the amount of information given and surprised that they could do so much themselves to change the feel and sound of their instrument.
